Brewerkz
Devin Kimble and Daniel Flores brought Brewerkz to life when they opened their doors in June 1997. Besides handcrafted beer, Brewerkz also offers great American-style food and good, old fashioned "down home" service.
Scott Robertson, their Brewmaster, is from Regina, Saskatchewan, where it's really chilly in winter. He's spent 7 years perfecting his craft at Bushwakker Brewing Company and is responsible for the best beers at Brewerkz. Scott's also had Brew gigs in Japan and was a certified Beer Judge. And here's something Scott wouldn't tell you - he has a BSc (Hon) in Physics and a MSc in Medical Physics. So who says it doesn't take a rocket scientist to make terrific beer!
The Werkz
Brewerkz has got the Werkz for you. At Brewerkz, you can throw a party, celebrate your birthday, blow away the Monday blues or just catch up with your favorite sport.
The latest addition to their portfolio is cask ale! Brewed and conditioned in the traditional English way, this is Singapore's and probably SE Asia's only real ale!
And not to miss out, Brewerkz handcrafted beer - the Golden Ale and the India Pale Ale are now available in bottles! Now, you can actually buy them off the Brewerkz counter and stock them up at home.
How good are they?
Readers of IS Magazine in November 1997 voted Brewerkz as Singapore's Best New Bar. Brewerkz also walked away with the Singapore Tourism Board's Tourism Award 1999 for "Best Dining Experience".
Brewerkz claimed a gold medal in the Association of Brewers (AOB) World Beer Cup 2004, a global beer competition that evaluates beers from around the globe and recognizes the most outstanding beers being produced in the world today.
Their most recent win at the Australian International Beer Awards 2007 carried home a host of awards, including a Gold and Best in Category for their Hopback Ale, Silver for both IPA and XIPA and Bronze for their Oatmeal Stout.
