Assoc Prof Ang Swee Hoon is with the Department of Marketing.
Assoc Prof Ang is a co-author of ‘Marketing Management: An Asian Perspective and Principles of Marketing: A Global Perspective' with Philip Kotler, Leong Siew Meng, and Tan Chin Tiong. She has published in Journal of Advertising, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science , Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Cross-Cultural Psychology, Journal of World Business, Long Range Planning, and Psychology & Marketing.
She has undertaken several consultancy projects and executive education seminar, some of which involved service quality evaluation, customer profiling, and feasibility studies. Her clients include Caterpillar, Citibank, Johnson & Johnson Medical, Ministry of Health, Singapore Arts Center , and Singapore Pools.
Her main research interest is in advertising effectiveness. Her recent work includes advertising creativity and rhetoric advertising. She has also developed an interest in research on Asia Pacific.

Assoc Prof Leong Siew Meng is with the Department of Marketing.
His research on marketing has been published in numerous academic journals. Prof Leong has also coauthored several texts and casebooks on marketing management. He serves on the editorial and advisory boards of international and regional marketing journals.

Assoc Prof Tan Soo Jiuan is with the Department of Marketing.
She has published several articles in academic journals such as Journal of International Business Studies, Marketing Letters, Social Indicators Research, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Marketing Communications, Journal of Cross-cultural Psychology, European Journal of Marketing and Journal of Business Venturing.
Assoc Prof Tan has provided consulting experience in major public and private organizations and has also conducted market feasibility and industries studies for corporations including as Danone , Singapore Telecommunications , Singapore Pools (Pte) Ltd and Export Credit Insurance Corporation of Singapore . Her research interests focus on consumer values and lifestyles, game-theoretic applications in marketing, global product management, international market entry strategies, marketing strategies for SMEs and entrepreneurial firms. Assoc Prof Tan is also a co-author of three books: Competing for Markets (with Lim Guan Hua and Lee Khai Sheang), Seven Faces of Singaporeans (with Kau Ah Keng and Jochen Wirtz), and Understanding Singaporeans: Values, Lifestyles, Aspirations and Consumption Behaviors (with Kau Ah Keng , Jung Kwon, and Tambyah Siok Kuan ).

Prof Kau Ah Keng has published in Journal of Marketing Research (USA), Journal of International Business Studies, International Marketing Review, Journal of Business Ethics, Psychology and Marketing, Journal of International Consumer Marketing, Social Indicators Research and others. Prof Kau, together with Assoc Prof Tan Soo Jiuan and Dr Tambyah Siok Kuan has authored a new book titled ‘The Quality of Life in Singapore’. The book is available in August 2009.
Prof Kau has acted as programme director and conducted numerous executive development programs both in Mandarin and English for corporations in Singapore, Indonesia, Australia and China. Prof Kau’s research interests include global entrepreneurship, service marketing and new venture creation.
