NUS APEX-MBA again ranks as among world's best


NUS Business School has been ranked among the best in the world for its Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) programmes. Its Asia Pacific Executive MBA programmes in English and Chinese, take 29th place in the latest Financial Times (FT) 2006 EMBA ranking, ahead of business schools from the United States and Europe. It came in 30th in the FT rankings last year.

Dean Earley and all the directors gave a half-yearly update on the School and its activities at the Dean’s Meeting with staff and faculty held on August 31, 2006.

The Bizad Dean’s Cup

The inaugural Bizad Dean’s Cup, a soccer tournament organized for Bizaders, kicked off on the 22 September 2006, just before the mid-term break at the NUS Sports and Recreation Centre.

Special Feature

In the May issue of Business Leads, we reported the establishment of the Ian Ferguson MBA Scholarship.

This was set-up with a $280,000 donation from the Ian Ferguson Foundation. The endowment income will be used to award an annual scholarship to an MBA student to fund the tuition for a two-year MBA program.

In this issue, we profile the man whom the award will be named after.
